Our client in Rochester, New York is looking for a Med Surg/Tele Nurse for a 13 week contract. This client is looking for Nurses for 3×12 Night shift beginning in October. The Med Surg RN will can have an out of state license but must be willing to get their New York State license once accepted for the contract. This role will pay $2000-2200+ per week.
Responsibilities for this role include
Patient care:
Assessing and monitoring patients’ health conditions, planning and implementing care plans, and providing direct bedside care
Treatments:
Administering medications and treatments prescribed by physicians, changing dressings, and assisting surgeons during procedures
Support:
Answering patients’ questions, helping them deal with fear, pain, and uncertainty, and providing education
Communication:
Evaluating medical information and working closely with other healthcare professionals
Documentation:
Documentation:
Maintaining records and operating and tracking medical equipment
**Shift 7PM-7AM
**Must have AHA BLS
**Must be willing to float to like Units. The Nurse will not practice outside of their scope
**Must be available every other weekend
