Job Summary

A hospital client based in Far Rockaway, NY has an onsite contract opportunity for a RN Case Manager. Shift schedule is 4/10s or 5/8s with alternating weekends. This is a 13 week contract with possibility of extension.

The RN Case Manager will work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to assure the appropriate allocation of hospital resources while maintaining the quality of patient care. The RN Case Manager actively participates in the discharge planning process using recognized standards of care to determine the medical necessity, most appropriate level of care and correct patient status for service delivery.

Job Qualification

  • Required- Active New York RN License
  • Required – Minimum of 1+ years experience with hospital Case Management/Utilization Review
  • Required – Minimum of 1+ years experience with discharge planning and knowledge/use of InterQual.
  • Required – NYS PRI Certified
  • Preferred – Med Surg and ED experience
