A hospital client based in Chattanooga, TN has a remote opportunity for a Specialized Hospital Pro-Fee Coding Auditor with a minimum of 5 years current coder auditing experience in both minor and major procedure/surgeries for either Orthopedics, Cardiology/Cardiovascular, Pulmonary, Hospitalist, and/or Neurology/Neurosurgery. The Specialized Hospital Pro-Fee Coding Auditor will be able to notice when provider codes/documentation are accurate for the coders and have strong E/M level services. In addition to strong E/M level services, the Specialized Hospital Pro-Fee Coding Auditor must have strong, high-level experience in both minor and major procedures/surgeries at a Level I Teaching Hospital setting. Shift schedule is Monday – Friday, regular business hours, EST.
Job Qualification
- Required – Minimum 5 years’, and current, Hospital Pro Fee Coding Auditing experience in a specific speciality that include major procedure/surgery experience
- Required – Minimum 5 years’, and current, Hospital Pro Fee Coding experience that includes E/M services and charts for both minor and major surgeries
- Required – CPC
- Required – CPMA and/or CPC-I (AAPC Approved Instructor) certified
- Prefered – Speciality coding certification
- Required – Current EPIC and 3M 360 experience
